Captain Joe Farenga leads the MissionCIT Law Enforcement Practice, bringing 25 years of experience in a mid-sized Connecticut police department. He has a diverse background, having served in almost every division within his agency.

His career highlights include:

• Patrol Division: Joe rose through the ranks from Patrol Officer to Lieutenant, gaining experience as a Dispatcher, Field Training Officer, and Motor Officer.
• Investigations and Youth Divisions: He served as a supervisor in both divisions.
• Tactical Team: Joe dedicated 20 years to the agency’s tactical team, culminating in his role as Team Leader.

Joe’s commitment to leadership is evident in his M.S. in Organizational Effectiveness and Leadership. He is also a POSTC certified instructor.
